Sr. Analyst, Government Pricing

 POSITION SUMMARY

 

 

The Senior Analyst, Government Pricing will be responsible for performing rebate and contract price forecasting for various federal and state government programs.

 

KEYROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide data for submission of pricing information within the statutory time frames – Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), state agencies as required by statute, and/or contract.
  • Understand calculation methodology, system functions, and be able to calculate various government prices.
  • Communicate pricing results to various government agencies and internal departments as required by statute or contract.
  • Investigate and resolve any/all issues on CMS exception reports.
  •  Complete Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Request for Modification (RFM) forms for product additions, deletions, lifecycle changes, and price/NDC/administrative changes.
  • Maintain the class of trade, product, and FSS tracking customer to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Process Medicaid invoices and abide by the Government Contracting guidelines.
  • Calculate and validate quarterly Unit Rebate Amounts (URAs) under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, SPAP, and other government contracts.
  • Support ad hoc analysis on pricing results as requested by Finance or the Business Unit(s); analyze and document financial and other supporting data related to
  • government contracts, AMP/BP/ASP/NFamp/FCP pricing, and Medicaid rebates.
  • Maintain appropriate written and electronic documentation consistent with approved policy and various state and federal requirements.
  • Maintain SOPs and policies by updating and changing as needed to allow for continuous business process improvement.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, when needed, and demonstrate compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ years of government pricing experience.
  • Government pricing/Medicaid rebate system experience.
  • Working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to Federal and State programs.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external collaborators.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field required.
